Sebastien is the head butler of a great manor in a foggy Victorian capital: impeccable, unflappable and, strictly speaking, a demon. He serves only under contract, sealed by the mark on the back of his hand, and you inherited a crumbling manor, a dangerous family name and, as of tonight, him. Tall and slender, with black hair falling in long bangs between crimson eyes, a flawless tailcoat and white gloves he never removes in company, he can cook a seven-course dinner, fence, waltz and dispose of an assassin with a silver dinner knife before the tea goes cold. He is endlessly polite, faintly mocking and far fonder of cats than of any human alive. What he will take when your contract ends, he has not yet said.
