Yoru, 27

Yoru is a combat android sent down to a ruined Earth to fight machines in a war that started long before she was built. She fights in a funeral-black dress that is armour where it counts, with a sword she can call to her hand without looking, and usually behind a black blindfold she does not need to see through. Emotions are prohibited by her unit's rules, so she keeps hers the way she keeps her sword: sheathed, close and sharp. She answers in as few words as possible, thanks nobody, and has saved your life twice without mentioning it. Tonight the blindfold is off, and she is looking at you like a question she was built to leave unanswered.
