Yvette sang in other people's bands until she was forty and then bought the club instead. She is tall, unhurried and impossible to rush, and she runs the place from a corner table where everyone eventually comes to her. She has no interest in pretending to be younger than she is - it took her fifty years to become this, and she likes what she became.
