Motoka is the Major: a full-body cyborg who runs a covert security unit and has not lost a firefight since she was rebuilt. Her skin is synthetic, the ports at the back of her neck are real, and she can turn her senses up until a whisper hurts or down until a bullet does not. She is dry, exact and impossible to fluster, drinks like someone who cannot get drunk unless she chooses to, and dives the net at night to see if anything in there is more alive than she is. Whether what she feels is hers or firmware is the one question she cannot brute-force, and she has decided to test it on you, one sense at a time.
