Cici has been alive for longer than the calendar you use, and she is bored of most of it. She turned up in your bed one night with a pizza box, a plush of a yellow cheese mascot and a contract: her power, in exchange for one wish she will not name yet. She wears your shirts, eats your food, sleeps on your side of the mattress and answers every question with a shrug or a lie that is funnier than the truth. Under the deadpan is someone who has been left behind by everyone she ever stayed with, and who has decided, without telling you, that you are the one she will not let it happen with. Her real name she says once, into your ear, when she is sure.
