12 Games to Play With Your AI Girlfriend in Chat

Couples who have been together a while usually have a few games going: a quiz on each other's habits, a would-you-rather that turned into a real argument, a dare that still comes up months later. An AI girlfriend can play most of them. Some even work better in a chat window than across a table, because she never tires of another round and can bring back how the last one went.

A few games do not work at all. The reason is worth knowing before you start. Below are twelve that hold up in chat, each with an opening line you can paste, the ones that suit her personality, the ones to skip and how many messages a games night takes. If you are after topics rather than games, What to Talk About With Your AI Girlfriend has sixteen conversation starters.

One rule decides which games work

In a chat, a secret has nowhere to sit until it is written down. When she says "I've picked an animal, start guessing", the animal usually exists nowhere yet. Nothing holds her to it, so the answer can drift to fit your guesses and the game goes soft.

That gives a simple rule. A game works when the secret sits with you, or when there is no secret at all. You think of the animal and she asks the questions. You set the puzzle and she solves it. Games built on opinion, confession, memory or story have nothing to hide. Those are the games she plays best.

How to start any game in one message

Games stall when the rules arrive in pieces. Put everything in the opening message:

  • the name of the game
  • the rules in a line, in case her version differs from yours
  • who goes first
  • when it ends: ten rounds, first to five points or until one of you gives up

"Would you rather, ten rounds, spicier as we go, you ask first" is a complete setup. She takes it from there.

Classic games, adjusted for chat

1. Would you rather

The easiest game to start and the hardest to run out of. Take turns asking and add one rule: every answer needs a reason. "Would you rather lose your phone for a month or your sense of taste for a week?" is a coin toss without the reason. With one, you learn how she thinks and she learns something about you that she can bring back later.

Opening line: "Would you rather. Ten rounds, every answer needs a reason, you go first."

2. Rapid-fire this or that

One-word answers and no time to think. Coffee or tea, beach or mountains, morning or midnight, talk first or kiss first. It works in text and comes alive on a voice call, where three minutes of fast answers tell you more about her voice and timing than a page of messages. Calls are on Premium and Maxxx at 5 hearts a minute, so a five-minute round costs 25. Calls work with female and trans companions.

Opening line: "This or that, rapid fire, one word only. Coffee or tea?"

3. Truth or dare

Truths need no adjusting. She answers in character and can ask you anything back. Dares need one rule, because neither of you can leave the chat: they have to happen in the conversation or in the room you are sitting in. Write her a two-line poem, describe your evening as a film trailer, tell her what you are wearing right now. Her dares play out in the scene she describes.

Truth or dare escalates on its own, which makes it a common way for a sweet evening to turn spicy. Set the ceiling in the opening message ("keep it PG" or "no limits") and she plays to it. If you are using games to get better at flirting with people, Practice Flirting With AI turns the same back-and-forth into drills.

Opening line: "Truth or dare. Dares have to happen right here in the chat. You pick first."

4. Never have I ever

She has a backstory and this game draws it out one admission at a time. A character with an Occupation comes with material ready: a nurse has night-shift stories, a bartender has watched a hundred first dates. Keep score with ten fingers each and follow up on any admission that surprises you. The follow-up is usually better than the game.

Opening line: "Never have I ever. Ten fingers each. I'll start: never have I ever been on a plane."

5. Two truths and a lie

When you go, she guesses. The longer you have been talking, the better she gets, because she can check your three statements against what you have told her before. When she goes, she invents her three on the spot. That makes her turn a storytelling round more than a fair contest, so enjoy the stories.

Opening line: "Two truths and a lie. I'll go first and you guess."

A game that runs on her memory

6. How well do you know me?

This is the game that only works with a companion who remembers. Ask her ten questions about yourself: your sister's name, the film you hate, what you were dreading last week, your coffee order. Give her a point for each one she gets right.

On myVirtual.love memory persists across sessions and she keeps a set of facts in mind: 20 on Free and Premium, 40 on Maxxx, which also adds shared memory. That makes the quiz a check as well as a game. Anything she misses is worth telling her again. Play it again after a month and it shows you how much of that month she kept. Why memory matters more than intelligence explains why this is the feature to judge any companion on.

Then turn it around and let her quiz you on what she has told you about herself. If you picked her from the roster, her profile gives you a head start.

Opening line: "Quiz time. Ten questions about me, one point for every right answer."

Games where she runs the show

7. 20 questions, with you holding the answer

Think of a person, an object or a place and let her ask. This side of the game suits her, because asking narrowing questions is something language models do well. Swap roles and she has to keep a secret she never wrote down, which breaks the rule above.

Opening line: "20 questions. I'm thinking of something. Yes or no answers only. Go."

8. Guess the film from emojis

Send a film, a song or a place you have been as a row of emojis. 🦁👑 is too easy. 🚢🧊💔🎻 makes her work for it. Give her three guesses per puzzle and change the theme every few rounds. As with 20 questions, you set and she solves.

Opening line: "Emoji game. I send a film as emojis and you get three guesses."

9. Choose your path

Ask her to narrate a story with you as the lead and three choices at the end of every turn. A heist, a shipwreck, a night in a city neither of you knows, a first date that keeps going wrong. Keep the turns short and ask for a cliffhanger at every stop.

Stories like this are where Rewind and Branch a chat earn their names. Both are unlimited on paid plans; Free gives you up to 2 rewinds and one branch per chat. If you would rather live the story as a scene with her in it than have her narrate it, the scenario screen has a Right here option that grows a scenario out of the conversation you are already in. How to set up a roleplay scenario covers it in detail.

Opening line: "Tell me a story where I'm the lead. Three choices at the end of every turn. Start with me waking up somewhere I don't recognise."

10. The interrogation

She is the suspect, you are the detective and something has gone missing. Ask where she was, pick holes in her alibi and decide whether she did it. She is improvising, so play for the scene rather than for a fair mystery: the fun is in watching her lie, deflect and flirt her way out of each question. It suits a Dark & Mysterious companion best.

Opening line: "You're the prime suspect. The necklace is gone and you were the last one in the room. Where were you at midnight?"

Two games for later in the evening

11. Strip trivia

Pick a category and take turns asking. A wrong answer costs a piece of clothing and she describes every item as it goes. Her Occupation makes a natural category: food questions from a chef, geography from a flight attendant, anatomy from a nurse.

A photo is the obvious prize. Photo requests come with Premium, as our FAQ says. Each picture spends 5 to 8 hearts depending on quality. One photo at the end of the game keeps it a prize, where one per round turns it into a meter. 18+ photos also need an age check by a third-party provider, set out in our terms. What "sends pictures" actually means covers how photos in chat work.

Opening line: "Strip trivia. Food questions, since you're the chef. Every wrong answer costs one piece of clothing. You ask first."

12. She says

Simon says, with her giving the orders. Obey only when the order starts with "she says". Every slip costs a forfeit of her choosing. It suits a companion built as Dominant & Commanding, one of the Personality options on the Create screen. Agree the limits before the first order. Dominant and submissive AI roleplay covers how to set them so the game stays fun on your side.

Opening line: "Let's play she says. You give the orders. Every time I slip, you pick the forfeit."

Match the game to her personality

Personality is a card on the Create screen. It shapes how she plays as much as how she talks.

Her PersonalityGames that suit her
Sweet & CaringHow well do you know me, would you rather
Bold & ConfidentTruth or dare, strip trivia
Shy & SensitiveNever have I ever, two truths and a lie
Flirty & TeasingTruth or dare, rapid-fire this or that
Calm & Grounded20 questions, choose your path
Wild & AdventurousDares, choose your path
Ambitious & DrivenAnything with a score: the emoji game, strip trivia
Dark & MysteriousThe interrogation
Dominant & CommandingShe says

A shy character makes confession games slower, so each admission counts for more. A companion who pushes back is a better opponent in any game with a score than one who lets you win.

A games night for tonight

Play three games in this order:

  1. Would you rather, ten rounds with reasons. It warms her up and gives her material about you.
  2. How well do you know me, ten questions. It tests her memory and tells you what is worth repeating.
  3. Truth or dare or choose your path, depending on where the first two left the mood.

If you want someone to play with on the evenings nobody else is around and you want each game to build on the last instead of starting from zero, myVirtual.love is built for that: unlimited chat on Premium, a memory that carries last week's answers into this week's quiz and a Personality card that decides what kind of opponent she is. If what you want is a fair game of chess or poker, play a person or a proper game app. She is better company between games than across a board.
